Borin Daul House is a house for elderly people who live alone, which was built by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation(SH). The aging population in Korea is rapidly progressing every year, and the suicide rate of senior citizens is high and the elderly who live alone is more likely to have problems. There are many problems in the economic, health, and human relations of the single elderly. The ultimate goal of this is a stable life for single elderly people. It consists of job spaces to solve the economic problems of the elderly, public spaces for human relations, and a play area for health, in addition to one-person residential spaces for living.
