YURERU CONCEPT

mobility as kinetic art

Yeonsoo Kim

"YURERU CONCEPT" proposes the idea of ‘seeing and appreciating’. While the mobility is stationary, it can be visualized as an art sculpture. As the roof structure simultaneously alternates and changes, the light and shadow generates from the roof creates the sensational real-time user experience, in both physical and visual representation. The key idea is to extend the ideology of mobility, that it can also be visually viewed as a kinetic art. The inspiration is Irori, a movement of people gathering around and watching flame together, as the fire represents the quintessence of life. The name "Yureru" inherits the motion of flame, as the center metaphor of Irori.
