CETACYA

Korea is bordered by the sea on three sides, and major cities are mainly connected to the large rivers such as the Han River. In that sense, water transportation is efficient and has many advantages. However, it has not been used as a safety issue and a speed efficiency. CETACYA is a ground-effect water transportation that solves these two problems. The WIG ship, which utilizes the ground- effect, has over than double speed of conventional ships overcomes the disadvantage of them. It is also a little slower than airplanes, but it is eco-friendly and economical than them. However, the biggest drawback of WIG ships with these advantages is that they are vulnerable to external environmental changes such as weather and high wave. CETACYA offers an alternative design to overcoming the vulnerability of these WIGs to external factors while taking advantage of them.
