The artillery base in Oryukdo Park, Busan, which had been neglected as a mere underground structure was renovated into an art museum to provide cultural value to locals and tourists. At the same time, outdoor space was designed to contain a history lesson in remembrance of the victims who were forced to work in the artillery base and independence activists.
